This gorgeous ground floor lodge features a double bedroom and a twin bedroom that are decorated to the highest standard, with sensational views to greet you each morning. Guests can look forward to spending quality time together in the cosy open plan living room, which showcases vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, and bi-folding doors, allowing you to make the most of the incredible countryside views.
The ample kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need to rustle up a delicious home-cooked meal. Enjoy nights curled up in front of the woodburning fire with your favourite TV series or film, or take a dip in the luxurious hot tub located inside the stunning Retreat Deck to catch the last glimpses of sunshine or admire the twinkling stars. You can even enjoy late night fireside chats or a girly wine tasting evening al fresco style!
Fun-Filled Family Staycations at Castle View
The gorgeous Castle View lodge is our newest accommodation, offering the ideal escape for families or small groups. As you enter, you’ll be greeted by a gorgeous, welcoming open plan living, kitchen and dining area where you’ll instantly feel at home. The space is bright and airy thanks to expansive French doors, and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need to cook up a storm. Meals can be enjoyed around the dining table in front of the cosy wood burning stove, or outside in the garden.
Castle View features two fantastic bedrooms; the master bedroom with a sumptuous super king-sized bed, and the other with a super-king zip-link bed that can be converted into twin singles. The real highlight of Castle View is the stunning black freestanding bath in the master bedroom! The bedrooms are fitted out with luxurious bed linen, fluffy pillows, cosy duvets, and even soft bathrobes, guaranteeing our guests with a peaceful night’s sleep. A family-sized bathroom which features underfloor heating and Bluetooth speakers in the mirror and a games room with table tennis are the cherries on top of this luxury interior!
Outside the lodge, you’ll find a private garden space which offers excellent views of the scenic countryside, featuring a balcony, sun loungers, a luxury hot tub, and even a pizza oven! It’s the perfect spot to spend a lazy summer afternoon, enjoying each other’s company and cooking your own pizzas.

In the Brecon Beacons National Park, you’ll find a vast array of adventurous outdoor activities including rock climbing, mountain biking, walking, water sports, and stargazing. This expansive landscape is home to a variety of wonderful wildlife, and red kites and buzzards can often be spotted circling above.
A short 10-minute stroll will find you at our local pub, The Roast Ox Inn in Painscastle, where you can enjoy some fantastic food and drink; or alternatively, you could make your way into the market town of Hay-on-Wye. Just a 15-minute drive from Lundy Lodges, the town boasts a great selection of independent shops, pubs, and restaurants to suit everyone. It’s famous for being the world’s first ‘book town’ and offers just under 40 book shops!
If you want to venture a little further afield, the wonderful city of Hereford lies just a 45-minute drive away from Lundy Lodges, where you can explore the Gothic cathedral, the Cider Museum, the Waterworks Museum and much more.
